About Me

My name is Trish Haveman, and I am a web and graphic designer.

I grew up all over Washington State, from Ellensburg to South Whidbey, but now I'm proud to call Bellingham home.

I graduated from Whatcom Community College in June of 2009 with my Associate in Arts in Visual Communications (covering both web/interactive media and graphic design disciplines) and began working as a graphic designer at The Lones Group, Inc.

In an attempt to keep my design skills current and honed, I work on various projects at home and hope to begin featuring those projects on this website. I maintain several personal blogs and for the most part, they are in a continual state of construction. Much as I have a habit of rearranging furniture when I tire of an arragement, I also feel the need to reinvent my web self when I feel that it no longer reflects who I am or how I feel.

In my spare time I enjoy knitting, crocheting, cooking, singing, ballroom dancing, and doing photography. Much of my photography can be found on my public photo gallery.

I have unoffically adopted a black Holland Lop rabbit named Mo, who lives in a hutch at Ty's parents' house. We have plans to build our own hutch for Mo, which Ty has designed. Once the hutch is complete and we've bunny-proofed the deck, we'll be able to bring him home with us.

On October 17, 2009, after three years together, I married my wonderful husband, Ty, who is a software engineer at Attachmate, Corp. We live in a condo in North Bellingham. We get along entirely too well, as is proven by the ease with which we can stay awake until 4:00 AM, just talking. (And don't ask what we talk about, because we honestly couldn't tell you!)
